Escaping the intense heat of tropical Zurich Nanja did the right thing:

she visited the IGLUNA „habitat in ice“ field campaign of the ESA Lab in Zermatt and was fascinated by the variety of projects that have been realised by 20 student teams from 13 universities coming from 9 different countries.

 

Goal of these projects is „demonstrating key enabling technologies for life support in frozen worlds”. Some of these projects could well qualify as future ESA BIC CH applicants.
